China New Regulation- Interpretation on the Measures for the Safety Management of Road Transport of Dangerous Goods

Introduction:
On November 25, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Emergency Management, and the General Administration of Market Supervision and Administration jointly issued the Measures for the Safety Management of Road Transport of Dangerous Goods. (Order No. 29 of 2019 by the Ministry of Transport, hereinafter referred to as the “Measures”), this regulation will be implemented from January 1, 2020.

The "Measures" cites the chapters in JT/T617-2018 (China’s ADR) to make it from a recommended industry standard to a mandatory standard. The "Measures" will bring a profound change to the road transport industry of dangerous goods.
