REACH Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern for Authorisation Grows The European Chemicals Agency is permanent adding chemical substances to the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) for authorisation. Companies manufacturing or importing these substances need to check their potential obligations that result from the listing. 2010 is the key year for Chemicals Registration and Notification 2010 is a key year for Chemicals Registration and Notification – 30. November 2010 is the deadline under REACH for registration of most hazardous substances (e.g. CMR) above 1 ton per year, for substances very toxic to the aquatic environment above 100 ton per year, or substances manufactured or imported above 1 000 ton per year. It is necessary to submit a registration dossier to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) consisting of a common part prepared and submitted together with other manufacturers or importers of the same substance, and an individual part containing information that is specific to your company. |
